Abstract art by Florence Artur

I have been creating digital art since 1999, and during this time have gone through several techniques and many programs. At the moment I mostly use the computer to paint, using a Wacom tablet as a brush. The main difference, in my eye, between computer painting and traditional painting is the light. A monitor emits its own light, instead of just reflecting ambient light as most objects, including traditional paintings, do. Painting on a computer is a bit like painting directly with light. I love it!

Most of my recent digital images are made using Studio Artist and Painter. In the past I have also used Bryce and more recently Artmatic.
